The Warranty Information
The following terms and conditions apply to PROLiNK brand of products marketed and distributed by Fida International (S) Pte Ltd, which are purchased and used in Singapore by the original purchaser.
 
Warranty periods quoted are intended as a guide only and variations may occur within these product groups. Should you have problems with any of the above, you can contact our Customer Service & Technical Support at (65) 6357 0666 who will be happy to help. Please have your full Prolink model number and serial number, date and place of purchase and a brief description of the fault/query when contacting our service team.

  • New warranty terms are only effective for specified products purchased from authorized dealers.
  • Warranty begins on the original date of purchase, and is valid on products purchased and used inSingapore only.
  • On-site service does not include installation, removal or reinstallation.
  • For Prolink products sold outside of Singapore, please contact your Prolink dealer or Fida International (S) Pte Ltd for warranty information and service.

Lifetime Warranty
The lifetime warranty is valid only for the life of the product cycle meaning that it is limited by the end of the product life cycle when the product is obsolete (phased-out of production). This warranty will expire after 1 years from the date of obsolescence.
What Our Warranty Covers
  • Fida International (S) Pte Ltd (hereon known as the Company) warrants Prolink’s products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period specified. Warranty applies from the date of purchase by the first customer and is transferable only between end-users.
  • Fida International (S) Pte Ltd will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product with a similar product. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on the customer’s original limited warranty.
  • Fida International (S) Pte Ltd provides no warranty for any third-party software or accessories included or bundled with the product or installed by the customer.
  • Product item which is “Dead On Arrival” (DOA) and missing or short of any parts or components MUST be exchanged with the service centre COMPLETE with the full packaging and original dated sales receipt WITHIN 7 DAYS from the date of purchase. Any other requests will not be entertained.
What Our Warranty Does Not Covers
  • Any product on which the Serial Number has been defaced, modified or removed.
  • Accident in transit, misuse or improper application, wrong or inadequate electrical current or connection, negligence, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature.
  • Unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
  • Using under inappropriate on site condition (operating condition may refer to User Manual).
  • Loss of data, profits or goodwill, damage and destruction of any data, programmes, equipment or other properties, cost of recovering, reprogramming or reproducing any data, programmes or equipment.
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Fida International (S) Pte Ltd.
  • Removal or installation of the product.
  • Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
  • Use of supplies or parts not meeting Fida International (S) Pte Ltd specifications.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage to, or abuse of the coating on the surface of the display.
  • Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.
  • Personal loss, injury or any other damages.
  • Removal, installation and set-up service charges.
  • On-site warranty unless otherwise stated.
  • If the product warranty is not registered within 10 days from the date of purchase.
  • If there is no original dated sales receipt accompanied with the product which is sent into the Service Centre for any repair. Charges will be incurred accordingly to the customer for parts replacement and servicing.

Product Liability Insurance

PROLiNK USB hubs and USB Chargers are insured by NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Ltd (“Insurer”), with a worldwide coverage (excluding the United States and Canada), and a product liability coverage of up to SG$1,000,000 as of 16 November 2015 under Policy Number 5075583313. For any enquiries and/or claims related to this Warranty and/or the Product(s), please e-mail us at support@prolink2u.com.

Fida International (S) Pte Ltd shall submit all claims to the Insurer for assessment on the merits of the case, and the claimant will be notified by Fida International and/or the Insurer on the success of the claim in due course.

Fida International (S) Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use, or misuse of, or inability to use the product or arising directly or indirectly from the use or loss of use of the product or from the breach of the express warranty, including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages, or loss of anticipated profits or benefits, or for damages arising from any tort (including negligence or gross negligence) or fault committed by Fida International (S) Pte Ltd, its agents or employees, or for any breach of contract or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party. Warranty terms and conditions may vary from country to country, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
 
This agreement is the whole and entire agreement between the purchaser and Fida International (S) Pte Ltd and supersedes any prior or different agreements and shall be governed by the laws of the Republic Of Singapore.

Malaysia Region

Important Notes
  • LCD TV/Monitors are warranted for Parts and Labour only for 36 months. LCD Panels or LCD glass Panels for Touch Screen will be warranted for 12 months only.   • Interactive UPS are warranted for Parts and Labour only for 24 months. Battery will be warranted for 12 months only.
  • Flash Disk are lifetime warranty with condition the type/model of the product still be produced and available. We will offer to trade-in the product if the condition happened outside from above condition.

  • Prolink IntiData Nusantara, pt. will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product with a similar product dan if the product is no longer produced/available then for the customer we will offer to trade-in/upgrade the product.
  • Prolink IntiData Nusantara, pt. provides no warranty for any third-party software or accessories included or bundled with the product or installed by the customer.
  • Product item which is “Dead On Arrival” (DOA) and missing or short of any parts or components MUST be exchanged with the service centre COMPLETE with the full packaging and original dated sales receipt WITHIN 7 DAYS from the date of purchase. Any other requests will not be entertained.

End-of-Life (EOL) Support Policy

PROLiNK® products reach the end of their Product Lifecycle for a number of reasons. These include product evolution due to market requirements and replacement by more advanced versions with richer functionality.
 
PROLiNK® recognizes that end-of-life milestones often have a broad impact on PROLiNK® customers in their IT environment. With that in mind, we have set out a long-term end-of-life policy, which we are publishing in advance, to assist customers to manage their transition to more recent versions and understand how PROLiNK® support can help them migrate their applications.
 
PROLiNK® typically offers support for a given product for a period of one (1) year after the End-of-Sale Date. (Defined below)
In order to notify our end customers and channel partners, PROLiNK® provides a specific End of Service Life (Defined below) date for a given product through our web site at the time the End-of-Sale Date is announced. Such notifications will typically be posted on this page ninety (90) days prior to the End-of-Sale Date. Regardless of the End of Service Life date, PROLiNK® will honor the terms of any applicable warranty and / or any previously sold maintenance agreements which were purchased prior to the End of Service Life Date.
 
Changes to PROLiNK® End of Life Support Policy
Although every effort will be made to support EOL products in accordance with our End of Life Support Policy, PROLiNK® reserves the right to change its policy as it deems appropriate. PROLiNK® will announce any changes to the EOL Support Policy through the website.
 
End of Sale Date (Last Order Date)
Any PROLiNK® product being discontinued will be announced as EOL. On the End-of-Sale Date, discontinued products are no longer available for purchase from PROLiNK®.
 
End of Service Life Date
This is the date a PROLiNK® product will no longer be supported by Technical Support. Note that PROLiNK® may, at its discretion, stop offering Time and Materials support services prior to the End of Service Life Date.
